Improved

Presentations page rebuilt — real design previews, clear status, faster load

The Presentations page now shows each board as a proper design preview with its status, instead of a stack of squashed screenshot slivers that overlapped the board's own name. **Where:** Top nav → Presentations (and a client's own Presentations page) **How to test:** 1. Open Presentations from the top nav. 2. Each presentation now shows one large preview of its lead design, the client it belongs to, its stage (Draft / Awaiting their pick / Client picked), the number of designs, and when it was last touched. 3. Hover a card and use the ⋯ menu to open it or copy its share link. 4. With six or more presentations, use the search box and client filter above the grid. 5. Use "New presentation" to pick a client and start a board from this page. **Watch for:** Previews that stay blank or fail to load; a card whose preview image spills past the card edge or over its title; the stage label disagreeing with the board (a board a client has already picked from should read "Client picked"); the client filter hiding presentations that should match.

Fixed

Publish stays one click away after your site goes live

The launch guide at the top of the editor now sticks around whenever your live site has changes visitors can't see yet, instead of disappearing the moment you publish for the first time. **Where:** Site editor — the slim guide strip above the preview **How to test:** Publish a site, then make an edit (or publish while pages are still being built). Reopen the editor: the strip reads "Your site is live — publish your latest changes" and its last step is now "Publish changes". **Watch for:** The strip should vanish again once the live site matches your draft, and dismissing it should still stick for that site.

New

Save a filtered contact list as a segment

Filter your contacts down to the group you care about, then save it with a name. The segment keeps itself up to date as new leads arrive and existing ones change. **Where:** Site editor → Leads → Inbox → Contacts, then "Save as segment" once you have filtered. Saved segments live under the new Segments tab next to Contacts. **How to test:** Filter the contacts list — by status, tag, source, or one of your own fields — and click "Save as segment". Give it a name; the builder shows how many contacts it matches before you save. Add a new contact that fits the filter and it joins the segment on its own; change a contact so it no longer fits and it leaves. **Watch for:** the member count on a segment can briefly differ from the list it was saved from if contacts were deleted since the last change. Deleting a segment removes the grouping only — your contacts are untouched.

New

Search your designs by how they look, not just who they're for

The dashboard search box now understands design language — "navy", "editorial serif", "dense" — and can tell you which specific design matched, not just which site. **Where:** Dashboard → the search box above your site list. **How to test:** 1. Search for a look rather than a business: try "dark editorial", "warm terracotta", or "navy". Sites whose designs match should surface even when the business name and industry have nothing to do with the words you typed. 2. Combine the two: try a business name plus a look, e.g. "bella napoli dark". The right design of the right business should come out on top. 3. On a card that matched by design, the thumbnail now leads with the *matching* design instead of the site's default, and hovering marks that design with a blue "match" badge. **Watch for:** - **Use two words or more for look-based searches.** "navy design" or "warm terracotta" work; a bare "navy" on its own will find nothing. A single short word isn't distinctive enough to tell a real search from a typo, and we'd rather return nothing than return random designs. - Multi-word searches used to be matched as one literal phrase, so "bella napoli dark" could return nothing at all even for a site called "Bella Napoli". It now matches on each word — if a search feels too broad, add a more specific word rather than removing one. - Colour searches read from each design's actual palette, so a design described only as "editorial" is still findable by its colours. - Roughly four in ten existing designs have no style, palette, or summary recorded from when they were generated. Those won't answer look-based searches, though their sites are still findable by name and industry. Newer designs have much better coverage than older ones. - Very specific visual details ("dotted background", "rounded cards") are not searchable — the index knows palette, density, style, and layout, not fine texture.

Improved

Sections with no content get written, not left blank

When a design lays out a section but nothing was written for it, the missing copy is now generated automatically instead of the section shipping empty or the design being thrown away. **Where:** Any newly generated design — most visible on sites recreated from a long reference, which have many similar sections. **How to test:** Generate a site from a reference with a long sequence of sections (a timeline, a step-by-step story, an FAQ). Scroll the whole page: every section should have a heading and body copy, with no blank gaps. **Watch for:** Copy in one of these filled-in sections that reads as generic or off-brand — it is written from your business details, so tell us if it drifts.

New

Send an email campaign to a group of your contacts

Pick a segment, write your email, see exactly how many people it will reach, and send. You can also just ask the assistant — "draft an email to everyone who enquired about catering" — and it will build the audience and write you a draft to review. **Where:** Site editor → Leads → Inbox → Campaigns. **How to test:** Open Campaigns and create one. Choose a saved segment or build a filter, and the recipient count updates as you go — it shows both the size of the audience and how many will actually be sent to, with anyone unsubscribed broken out. Write the email, then Send: you'll be asked to confirm the recipient count, and the first time you send from a site you'll be asked to confirm your list has agreed to hear from you. While it sends, the campaign shows live progress and afterwards a per-recipient result. **Watch for:** campaigns need your own verified sending domain and will refuse to send without one — that's deliberate, so one site's marketing can never affect another site's lead notifications. Once a campaign has sent it becomes read-only. Anyone who unsubscribes is skipped automatically, and the reason is shown against them in the report. The assistant can draft and build audiences but can never send — that always needs a person.

Fixed

Surprise me now shows its layouts where you can see them

Fresh layouts from "Surprise me" appear at the top of the swap-layout panel instead of far below the design gallery, so you can actually find what was just made for you. **Where:** Site editor → pick a section → Swap layout → Surprise me **How to test:** Open a design, select a section, choose Swap layout, scroll well down through the gallery, then press Surprise me. The three new layouts appear under "Fresh ideas" at the top and the panel scrolls to them automatically. **Watch for:** The panel not scrolling back up after the layouts finish, or "Fresh ideas" appearing below the gallery instead of above it.

Fixed

Upgrading to Pro opens the checkout again

Choosing the Pro plan now opens the secure checkout instead of failing with an error pop-up, so workspaces on Free can complete the upgrade again. **Where:** Workspace settings → Billing → Change Plan → "Upgrade to Pro — $20/mo" → Confirm **How to test:** From a Free workspace, open Billing, pick the Pro plan and confirm the plan-change prompt. The secure checkout should open in place and quote the Pro monthly price with a card form. Close it and immediately reopen it — it should load a payment form both times. **Watch for:** Any error pop-up instead of the checkout; a checkout panel that shows an error message where the card fields belong; or a retry within the same day being refused after a first attempt failed.

Fixed

You now get an email the moment someone fills in your form

New leads no longer arrive in silence — you get notified automatically, and the person who contacted you gets an instant "we got your message" reply, with no setup required. **Where:** Site editor → Leads → Inbox (notifications go to the site owner's email by default). To send them somewhere else, use Settings → Notifications, or set recipients on an individual form. **How to test:** Open a site with a contact form, submit it as a visitor, and check the owner's inbox for the "New submission" email. The address you submitted with should receive a short acknowledgement at the same time. If you have added a business address in Settings → Notifications, the acknowledgement invites the customer to reply to it directly. Obvious spam is filed under the spam filter and gets neither email. **Watch for:** notifications arriving at an unexpected address (with nothing configured they go to the site owner's account email); a genuine enquiry mistakenly filed as spam — it is still saved, so check the spam filter in your Inbox if someone says they wrote in and you saw nothing. To turn notifications off entirely, remove every address in Settings → Notifications — an empty list now means "send nothing". To turn acknowledgements off for one form, switch off auto-response in that form's settings.

Fixed

A slow site change no longer reports a false connection error

When an edit in the site editor took longer than the assistant was willing to wait, the chat said the connection had been lost — even on a perfectly healthy connection. It now says the change took too long and may still be finishing, which is what actually happened. **Where:** Site editor → Design view → Assistant panel **How to test:** Ask the assistant for a large, slow change (a full-section rewrite or restructure). If it exceeds the wait limit, the chat should say it took too long and to refresh to check — not that the connection dropped. **Watch for:** Genuine network drops (going offline mid-request) must still report "Lost connection before the change came back" — the two messages are deliberately different.

Fixed

Cloning or importing a design no longer produces a blank page

Copying a design — cloning one on your site, or importing one from a Mondovo preview link — now brings the whole design across instead of landing as an empty white page. **Where:** Site editor → Design tab → clone a design (or **+ New** → import from a preview link) **How to test:** Clone any existing design, then open the new tab. Every section from the original — header, hero, body sections, footer — should render immediately, with the same content and styling. **Watch for:** A copied design that shows a blank canvas, or a Structure panel listing a single "Div" under Homepage instead of the real sections. Designs copied before this fix stay broken; delete them and copy again.

Fixed

Multi-part design references, and no more uninvited forms

Upload a long page as two or three screenshots and all of them now shape your designs, an image you assign to a section stays in that section, and industry defaults no longer add forms or widgets you never asked for. **Where:** Site builder chat — upload design screenshots and content images before generating. **How to test:** Screenshot a long page in two parts (top and bottom) and upload both in one message. The status should read "Analyzing your 2 reference images", and the plan that comes back should list sections from *both* halves in one continuous order. Separately, upload a content photo and say which section it belongs in — it should appear in that section in the generated designs. Generate a tech/SaaS site and confirm no email-capture form appears in the hero unless you asked for one. **Watch for:** Two genuinely *different* designs uploaded together being merged into one page — they should stay separate, and only the first should drive the layout. Also watch for a section from the bottom screenshot going missing, or a reference image being used as a photo on the page instead of as a design guide.

Fixed

New sites no longer get junk pages or a scrambled menu

Sites created through the API or MCP could end up with nonsense pages like "All Tagline" or "Trust Bar" and a navigation menu where Home wasn't first. A phrase as ordinary as "basic CRM" in the business description could trigger it. Four layers now prevent it: content fragments like taglines and headlines can never be promoted to collection pages, external-data routing requires explicit signals instead of keyword matching on the brief, the page-creation sweep skips protected sections, and Home is pinned to the front of the menu. **Where:** Any new site created via MCP `create_site` or the public API, then opened in the design editor **How to test:** Create a site whose business description mentions "CRM", "POS", or "Stripe". After generation, confirm the pages list contains no `/tagline`, `/headline`, or `/trust_bar` routes, and the top navigation starts with Home. **Watch for:** Catalog verticals (restaurants, real estate) must still get their real collection pages (menu, listings) — those flow through the planner and are unaffected. Legitimate external-sync setups (Shopify, PMS) still route to data sources when declared as integrations.

Fixed

Pasting a link to one of your own designs now copies it

Sharing a link to a design that already lives on the site you're editing used to fail with "Cannot import from the same site" — now it simply makes a copy of that design. **Where:** Site editor → Designs → **+ New** → paste a Mondovo design link into the chat → **Exact copy** **How to test:** Open a site with at least two designs, copy the address-bar link of one of them (or its preview link), open **+ New**, paste that link into the chat, and choose **Exact copy**. A new design appears in the strip, identical to the one you linked. **Watch for:** The copy should match the design the link named — not whichever design was on screen. A link to a design you've since deleted still says it is no longer available, and links to designs on other sites keep importing as before.

Improved

Reference choice now says which designs it affects

When you upload a design you want to emulate, the "How closely should I follow it?" choice now spells out that it only governs the first design — you still get three, and all three use your reference either way. **Where:** Site builder chat — upload a website screenshot and pick a fidelity option on the card that appears. **How to test:** Start a new site, upload a screenshot of a website in chat, and read the two buttons. "Recreate faithfully" should read "Design 1 matches it closely; 2 and 3 explore the same look"; "Use as inspiration" should read "All three borrow the look and adapt it freely". Pick either, generate, and confirm you get three designs that all reflect the reference. **Watch for:** Picking "Recreate faithfully" and getting three near-identical designs, or picking "Use as inspiration" and getting designs that ignore the reference entirely — neither is the intended behaviour.

Fixed

Screenshot and mockup images are legible again

Images that are supposed to contain readable words — website mockups, app screens, signage, menu boards — were being produced by a model chosen for photographs rather than lettering, so the text in them came out misspelled or garbled. **Where:** Any generated site with a screenshot, mockup or signage image — most visible in hero and showcase sections. **How to test:** Generate a site for a business whose homepage shows a device mockup, or ask for an image with a sign or menu board in it. The words in the image should be spelled correctly and read as English. **Watch for:** Images generated between 19 and 24 August may still carry garbled lettering — regenerate the image to get a corrected one. Photographic images without text are unaffected.

Fixed

Scroll animations now cover the whole page

Asking for sections to animate as you scroll now applies to every section, including ones added to the plan after you asked. **Where:** Site builder chat — ask for scroll animations before generating. **How to test:** Start a site, ask for something like "I want sections to appear as I scroll", then add another section to the plan afterwards and generate. Every major section — hero, features, and anything added later — should fade or slide in as it enters the viewport, not just the ones that existed when you asked. **Watch for:** A section that stays static while its neighbours animate, or content that starts invisible and never appears. If you have "reduce motion" enabled in your operating system's accessibility settings, animations are intentionally skipped.

Fixed

Telling us where an image goes now sticks

When you say which section an uploaded image belongs to, that instruction now survives all the way to the generated design instead of being quietly lost. **Where:** Site builder chat — upload an image and say where it goes. **How to test:** Upload a photo and say something like "this image is for the features section". Generate, and the image should appear in that section. Uploading a long page as top and bottom screenshots should also produce one continuous design covering both halves, not just the top. **Watch for:** An image appearing in a different section from the one you named, or not appearing at all. If you upload two genuinely different designs rather than two halves of one page, they should stay separate — the first drives the layout.

Fixed

Voice assistant no longer reports a phantom 'missing files' problem

Talking to the assistant while a section was selected could end with it saying there was "a technical issue related to missing files on the site" and offering to fix it — on a site with nothing wrong. The edit was simply never attempted. Voice edits on the design screen now go through, and when something genuinely does fail the assistant says so in plain language instead of reading back an internal diagnostic. **Where:** Site editor → open a design → Assistant panel → start a voice session **How to test:** Open a site's design screen, click a section on the canvas to select it, start voice, and ask for a change to that section (for example "make this background darker"). The change should apply and be confirmed. Switch between designs and repeat — each design should edit its own sections. **Watch for:** The assistant claiming files are missing, offering to "fix it or move on" without doing anything, or any spoken reply that mentions internal terms instead of describing the problem in ordinary words.

Fixed

A single broken file no longer costs you a whole design

When one component of a generated design failed to compile, our repair step sometimes gave up after a single try and threw the entire design away — so a run that should have produced three designs handed back two. **Where:** Site builder → generate designs (the D1 / D2 / D3 set) **How to test:** Generate a new site and confirm all three designs appear in the design list, each opening a real preview. **Watch for:** A design slot that stays empty after generation reports it is finished, or a design list that shows fewer designs than were requested.

Fixed

All three designs now use your pasted reference's hero

When you paste a design reference, every one of the three designs now rebuilds its hero from that reference instead of only the first, they all share the same restored photograph so the set stays consistent, and the mobile version gets a readable gradient behind any text sitting on the image. **Where:** Site editor → paste a design reference → generate **How to test:** Start a design from a reference whose hero is a photograph, generate, then switch between the three designs. All three should show the same hero photograph rebuilt from your reference — not a stock photo on two of them. Narrow to phone width and check that any headline sitting over the image stays readable against it. **Watch for:** One design using your reference's photo while the others fall back to generic stock; the three designs showing noticeably different versions of the same product; or mobile text sitting directly on a busy part of the photo with nothing behind it.

Fixed

Apply Image button no longer gets cut off in the Replace Image window

On shorter screens the Replace Image window could push its own Cancel and Apply Image buttons off the bottom edge — and squash the row of tabs down to a sliver — as soon as you picked an image and opened the fit and position controls. **Where:** Site editor → click any image → Replace Image **How to test:** Open Replace Image on an image, pick a new image, set Layout to Background so the fit, position and blur controls appear. The tab row across the top stays full height and the Apply Image button stays fully visible and clickable, even on a laptop screen or a short browser window. **Watch for:** Tabs shrinking or losing their labels, the Apply Image button being clipped or unclickable, or the fit and position controls overflowing past the bottom of the window instead of scrolling within their own section.

Improved

Ask what we think of a design, get an actual opinion

Upload a screenshot of a website and ask what you think of it, and the planning chat now tells you — what works, what doesn't, and whether it suits your business. Before, every screenshot got the same reply regardless of what you asked. **Where:** Site builder → planning chat → attach a screenshot of any website **How to test:** Attach a screenshot of a site and ask "what do you think of this?" or "be honest, what works here and what doesn't?" You should get a short, specific read — named strengths and named weaknesses — followed by an offer to use it as a reference. Then try attaching the same screenshot and saying "build me a site like this" instead: that should still give you the page-flow and visual breakdown with the fidelity choice, exactly as before. **Watch for:** A build instruction being treated as a question — "build me this" must never come back as a critique. If a message contains both ("what do you think — anyway, build me something like this"), the build instruction wins.

Fixed

Buttons and cards on a published page no longer lead to pages that aren't built yet

The main menu already stopped shipping links to pages you haven't built, but the buttons and cards inside your sections could still send visitors to a "page not found" screen. Now every link on a published page is checked, wherever it was written. **Where:** Site editor → Publish (any site whose plan includes pages you haven't created yet) **How to test:** Ask for a multi-page site (e.g. a law firm with practice-area, team and contact pages), publish it from the designs step without building those inner pages, then open the live URL and click every button and card — the hero buttons, the service/practice cards, the team and contact call-to-actions, and the footer shortcuts. All of them should land on a real page instead of an error. **Watch for:** Sections should still look exactly the same — the cards, buttons and their wording stay put; only where they lead changes. Phone, email, external and same-page anchor links must be untouched, as must links to pages that do exist (including your privacy policy, terms, and any catalogue detail pages).

Fixed

Design chat keeps working when our AI is at capacity

The "Create a new design" chat now falls back to a second capacity pool when our AI provider is briefly saturated, instead of failing the message — and when something does go wrong, it says so in plain language rather than showing an internal error. **Where:** Site editor → Designs → **+ New** → "Create a new design" **How to test:** Open the modal, describe a design in the chat, and send it. You should get a normal reply with a plan in the right-hand panel. Send several messages in a row, including a long one. **Watch for:** Any reply that reads like an error code or internal message rather than a sentence written for you. If the AI really is busy, the chat should say it is at capacity and to try again in a moment — and your typed direction should still be there.

Fixed

Design generation no longer rejects pages over content it actually has

A safety check that verifies generated pages only read content the site actually holds was flagging two perfectly valid coding patterns, which could throw away a good design and force a re-roll. **Where:** Site editor → generate designs (and any refinement of an existing design) **How to test:** Generate designs for a site whose sections use bulleted lists (e.g. a contact call-to-action with checkmark bullets) or a hero image whose alt text falls back through several fields. All designs should save on the first pass, with no re-roll and no empty sections. **Watch for:** A section that genuinely references missing content should still be caught — if a design saves with a visibly blank section, that is the opposite failure and worth reporting.

Fixed

Designs are no longer discarded for problems that had already been repaired

Generation checks each design's code for problems and then runs a repair step that fixes most of them — but the verdict was being read before that repair ran. A design could be thrown away, or reported as faulty, over a file that was already fixed by the time it was saved. Over three days this cost nine sites a design apiece. The check now runs after the repair, so only genuinely unfixable code counts against a design. The same release widens the pre-save compile check to cover every page of a site instead of only the home page, so a broken About or Services page is caught and recorded rather than surfacing later when someone opens it. **Where:** Site builder → generate designs (the D1 / D2 / D3 set) **How to test:** Generate a new multi-page site a few times. Every requested design should appear in the design list and open a real preview — including on runs where generation logs a repaired file. Then click through the inner pages (About, Services, Contact) and confirm each renders. **Watch for:** A design slot that stays empty after generation reports it finished, fewer designs than were requested, or an inner page that renders blank or errors while the home page looks fine.

Fixed

Editing a section is no longer blocked by a problem it already had

A section that was saved reading a content field which was never filled in would refuse every later edit, with a message asking you to rephrase — but no rephrasing could ever work. The editor now only blocks a change that actually introduces a new problem. **Where:** Site Editor → open a design → Assistant panel → ask for any change to an affected section **How to test:** Open a site with a section that was added by an earlier AI edit, then ask the assistant to change something in it (e.g. "make this section's padding smaller"). The change should apply instead of failing with "The AI produced malformed code and it was not applied." **Watch for:** A change that genuinely breaks a section should still be rejected — if the assistant invents a brand-new content field that doesn't exist, that edit must still be refused rather than saved.

Fixed

Reference designs now match the hero layout you pasted

When you paste a design reference whose hero is one full-width photograph, the generated site now builds it that way instead of boxing it into a narrower two-column layout — and it stops redrawing text that is already printed on the product in the photo. **Where:** Site editor → paste a design reference → generate **How to test:** Start a design from a reference whose hero is a single full-bleed photograph with the headline over it. Generate, then open the result on a wide screen. The hero image should run edge to edge with the headline on top of it, not sit in a centred box with a strip of background beside it. If the photo shows a product with printed text on it (a label, packaging, a sign), that text should appear only in the photograph — not repeated as a separate panel laid over it. **Watch for:** A visible gap of background colour beside the hero photo on a wide screen; a headline sitting in its own column rather than over the image; a floating card that repeats words already printed on the product; or, if you browse with reduced motion enabled, panels and cards rendering see-through with black borders.

Improved

Reference-matched heroes now hold up on phones

When you paste a design reference, the hero we rebuild from it is now framed and shaded correctly on mobile, and it fires reliably instead of on some generations and not others. **Where:** Site editor → paste a hero reference on a design → generate a variation **How to test:** Start a design with a pasted hero reference (a full-page screenshot is fine), generate, then open the resulting design and narrow the browser to phone width. The headline should sit over a darkened band at the top of the hero rather than over the product, and the subject should stay in frame. Repeat the same generation two or three times — the hero should come out of the reference every time. **Watch for:** A hero that renders as empty background on a phone, a headline sitting over the middle of the product with no shading behind it, the subject cut off at the bottom, or one run using the reference while the next quietly falls back to a stock photo.

Fixed

Replacing a section image now sticks after a refresh

Swapping an image inside a page section saved for real instead of only appearing until the next reload. **Where:** Site editor → click any image in the preview → Replace image → pick a new one **How to test:** Replace an image in a section such as a gallery or feature strip, wait for the "Replaced image" confirmation, then hard-refresh the page. The new image should still be there, and Version History should show an entry for the change. **Watch for:** An image that reverts to the old one after reload, or a "Applying via AI..." message appearing for what should be an instant swap.

Fixed

Replacing an image no longer dead-ends on "shared or dynamically generated"

Images inside carousels, card grids and other repeating sections can be replaced again — selecting one no longer returns "This image is shared or dynamically generated, so it cannot be replaced independently yet." **Where:** Site editor → preview → click an image → Replace image **How to test:** Open a design whose section shows the same picture in several views or cards (a product view switcher, a room/space grid). Click one of those images, choose Replace image, pick a new one, and confirm the preview updates and the change appears in Version History with Undo available. **Watch for:** The picture you clicked should change. Where several tiles were deliberately showing one shared picture, all of them update together — undo the change if that was not what you wanted. An image that is still genuinely unreplaceable now explains why instead of failing silently.

Improved

Scroll and search your workspace list — including by site URL

The workspace list in the account menu now scrolls, and you can search it by name, owner email, or by pasting the URL of a site to jump straight to the workspace that owns it. **Where:** Click your avatar in the top-right of the dashboard, then look under "Organizations". The same list (and search) appears in the mobile menu. **How to test:** 1. Sign in to an account that belongs to more than five workspaces and open the avatar menu. 2. Scroll the workspace list — the last workspace, "Create New Organization", and "Sign Out" should all be reachable without the menu running off the bottom of the screen. 3. Type part of a workspace name or an owner's email into the search box; the list filters as you type. 4. Paste a site address — a live site URL, a draft preview URL, or the link from your browser bar while editing a site. A result appears above the list naming the site and its workspace; clicking it switches workspace and opens that site. **Watch for:** A menu that still extends past the bottom of the window when the impersonation or beta banner is showing; a pasted site URL that reports "No workspace of yours owns that site" even though the site is in one of your workspaces; the search box appearing for accounts with only one or two workspaces.

Fixed

Second design no longer lost when one model goes quiet

When you ask for two designs and one of the AI models stops responding, the backup model now gets a fair share of the time budget instead of the seconds left over — so you get both designs instead of "1 of 2 designs ready". **Where:** Site editor → generate designs (two-design mode) **How to test:** Start a multi-page generation that produces two designs and let it run to completion; both designs should finish and be selectable. **Watch for:** A run ending with "1 of 2 designs ready", or a design failing right after a long silent stretch.

Improved

Share links now unfurl with a proper preview card

Paste a design board, creative share or site preview link into Slack, WhatsApp, LinkedIn or email and it now shows a designed 1200×630 preview card — your board title, how many options are waiting, and thumbnails of the actual designs — instead of a bare line of text. **Where:** Any public share link. Design boards: Presentations → open a board → Share → copy the link, then paste it into a chat app. **How to test:** 1. Open a client's Presentations and pin at least two designs to a board. 2. Turn on the board's public share link and copy it. 3. Paste the link into Slack (or any chat app that expands links) and wait a second for it to expand. 4. You should see a dark card with the board name, "N design options to review", and thumbnails of the first designs on the board. 5. Rename the board or pin a different design, then paste the link into a fresh conversation — the card picks up the change. **Watch for:** The very first paste of a brand-new board can take a couple of seconds to build its card; if the preview appears without a picture, paste it again a moment later. Some chat apps cache a link preview for hours, so re-testing the same link in the same channel may keep showing the older card — use a new channel or a different link to check a change. If a board's lead design has no screenshot yet, the card falls back to the next design that does, and a board with no screenshots at all shows a clean text-only card rather than a broken image. Boards belonging to an agency workspace show that agency's name and logo; personal workspaces named after an email address deliberately show no name at all.

Fixed

The image you attach is the image you get

When you attached a photo to a chat edit and asked for it to be placed, the AI sometimes created a brand-new picture for that spot instead and left your upload unused — with a notice saying it couldn't apply your image. Your attachment is now always used first. **Where:** Site editor → select an element → attach an image in the chat → ask for it to be added or replaced **How to test:** Open a design, click a section, attach a product photo, and say "add this image to the right side of this section". The image that appears should be the exact file you uploaded, and you should not see the "didn't apply your uploaded image" notice. **Watch for:** Attaching several images at once — they fill the new image spots in order. If the edit needs more images than you attached, the remaining spots are still filled for you as before.

Fixed

The plan screen now notices designs that were generated elsewhere

If your designs were generated from another tab, from an assistant, or from a request that lost its connection partway through, the builder could sit on the plan screen forever — still offering "Generate 3 Designs" for a site that already had them, with no way to reach the editing chat. It now spots the finished designs on its own and opens them. **Where:** Site builder → the plan screen for a site you have not generated designs for yet **How to test:** Open a site's plan screen, start its designs from a second tab (or from the assistant), and leave the first tab open. Within about fifteen seconds it should switch by itself to the design preview with the chat composer, without a refresh. **Watch for:** A plan screen that keeps showing "Generate 3 Designs" after the designs are ready, or one that flips to the preview and bounces back to the plan.

Improved

The planning chat can actually brainstorm now

When you're working through ideas with the planning chat, it now answers what you actually asked — picking one when you ask it to choose, explaining a term when you ask what it means, and developing an idea properly when you want options. Replies stay short by default; the extra room only shows up where it helps you decide something. **Where:** Site builder → planning chat, any time you ask for ideas ("help me brainstorm", "what could this be?", "give me a few angles", "not sure — what do you suggest?") **How to test:** Start a new site and describe a business you haven't decided the shape of yet. Ask for a few directions. You should get 2–4 named options, each with why it works and what makes it hard, rather than three bare labels. Then pick one and ask what the homepage would look like section by section — you should get a labelled section list plus what you'd need to supply. Separately, answer a plain factual question ("walk-ins only, closed Mondays") and confirm the reply is still one short line. **Watch for:** Padding — a reply that adds headings or restates a point to fill space. Ask it to pick one of its own suggestions; it should commit to one, not hand you a fresh list. Ordinary intake turns shouldn't get longer at all, the intake form should still appear on your first message, and asking one question shouldn't return two.

Fixed

Undo now reverts exactly one step

Undo sometimes jumped back two edits instead of one. It now always returns you to the state right before your last change. **Where:** Site editor → the Undo button on a change in the activity panel **How to test:** Two scenarios, both previously affected. (1) Make two content edits in a row on the same page — change a heading, then change a paragraph. Click Undo once: only the paragraph edit reverts. (2) Ask for a change that touches both wording and styling in one request, then make another edit and click Undo once: only the second edit reverts, and the wording from the first stays. Reload after each to confirm it held. **Watch for:** Undo reverting more than one change; the Undo button reporting success while nothing visibly changes; a change reappearing after a reload. Sites edited shortly before this fix may still show the old behavior for their first Undo, because it depends on history saved earlier.

Fixed

Version history opens again after a section edit

Revisions saved after this morning's update could not be opened — the editor showed "Failed to load version" and undo could not reach them. They load again, and no saved revision was lost. **Where:** Site Editor → Assistant panel → Version History (the row of dots), then click any earlier dot. **How to test:** Open a site you have edited several times today, click a dot other than the newest one, and confirm the preview switches to "Viewing revision #N" instead of the red "Failed to load version" bar. Click "Back to current" to return. **Watch for:** A revision that still refuses to open, an undo that reports success but leaves the page unchanged, or new edits not appearing as new dots in the timeline.

Fixed

A pasted hero reference now drives the hero image, not just the layout

When you upload a design reference and ask for it to be replicated, the hero photograph is rebuilt from your reference instead of being picked from a stock or library search. **Where:** Site editor → Designs → New design → paste or upload a hero reference → choose to match it closely. **How to test:** Upload a hero reference whose main image is a real photograph (a product in a room, an interior, a person at work). Generate a design and open the hero. The photograph should be the reference's own scene — same subject, same setting, same lighting — with the reference's navigation, headline, buttons and badges removed, and the empty area the headline sat on left clear for your own copy. **Watch for:** Lettering printed on the product itself is removed along with the page text, so a label or instruction panel in the reference comes back blank — use the product's real photo elsewhere on the page for that. A strongly coloured band behind removed text can come back lighter. And the reference only drives the homepage hero: other sections and inner pages still source images the usual way.

Fixed

Design edits with AI now work again

Asking the assistant to change a design was failing with "Failed to generate modified clone. Please try again." on every attempt — and on sites where an earlier design had failed to generate, the edit could also be applied to the wrong design. **Where:** Site editor → open a design → Assistant panel → describe a change (also the Clone with changes dialog) **How to test:** Open a site with several designs, pick one, ask for a visual change (for example "make the background dark"), and confirm a new design is created from the design you were actually viewing. **Watch for:** The red "Failed to generate modified clone" banner, or the new design being based on a different design than the one selected.

Fixed

Fixed designs that showed "Preview couldn't be displayed"

Some designs failed to preview with "Something in this design failed to render", even though nothing was wrong with the design itself — a safety pass we run while building the preview was rewriting part of the code it shouldn't have touched. **Where:** Site editor → Design tab → any design (e.g. D5) **How to test:** Open a site with several designs and switch between them. Each design should load in the preview canvas with all its sections visible. **Watch for:** The red "Preview couldn't be displayed" panel, a design that stays broken after clicking "Try again", or sections missing from a design that previously rendered.

Fixed

New designs now show the number you were promised

Generating a new design told you one design number while the design that appeared carried another, and a design that dropped out of the list could quietly move your selection to a neighbouring design. **Where:** Site editor → Design view → generate a new design from the assistant panel **How to test:** Open a site with several designs, ask the assistant for a new design, and watch the progress messages. The number in "Generating Design V…" and "Design V… complete!" must match the design pill that ends up selected. Reload the page and confirm the same design is still selected and the completion message still names it. **Watch for:** A progress message naming a design that has no pill in the switcher; the selected design changing on its own after a reload or after a failed design disappears from the list.

Fixed

Published sites no longer link to pages that haven't been built yet

When a multi-page site went live before its inner pages were built, every menu link pointed at a page that didn't exist — visitors got a "page not found" screen from the main navigation. Publishing now only ships menu links that actually resolve. **Where:** Site editor → Publish (any site whose plan includes pages you haven't created yet) **How to test:** Ask for a multi-page site (e.g. a law firm with practice-area, team and contact pages), publish it straight from the designs step without building those pages, then open the live URL and click through the menu. Every link should load a real page. The publish result now tells you which links were held back. Build the missing pages and publish again — the links come back on their own. **Watch for:** A menu that loses items it shouldn't (anchors that scroll within the homepage, external links, phone/email links, and dropdowns with at least one working page must all survive). Your menu inside the editor should be unchanged — only the live site is filtered. Footer buttons that were written directly into the design can still point at unbuilt pages; that's tracked separately.

Fixed

Switching back to an earlier design no longer gets stuck

Some sites could switch from one design to another but not back again — the second switch failed and left you on the design you were trying to leave. Switching now works in both directions. **Where:** Site editor → design switcher (pick a different design, then switch back) **How to test:** Open a site with more than one design, switch to another design, then switch back to the first. Both moves should complete and the page should render fully. **Watch for:** A switch that reports an error instead of completing, or a design that loads with sections missing after switching back.

Fixed

Your boards now show up from every site

The "Save to boards" picker was only listing boards created from the site you were currently in, so it said "No boards yet" even when you already had boards — now it lists every board in your workspace, with search and a recent-first list. **Where:** Site editor → hover a design in the designs bar → pin icon → Save to boards. Also Creative Studio → Library → "Pin to board…". **How to test:** Open a site you created recently and pin one of its designs. The picker should list the boards you made from other sites, most recently used first, with the owning site's name under any board that came from elsewhere. With more than five boards, a search box appears — type part of a board name to filter. Ticking a board adds the design to it; the tick stays on when you reopen the picker. **Watch for:** Boards from a different workspace appearing (they must not), a board you already pinned to showing without a tick, or the search hiding a board you just created.

Fixed

A safety check no longer rejects healthy designs

A safeguard that blocks designs which would crash the page was matching a normal, correctly-built page structure and discarding the whole design. Two finished designs were lost to it in the last two days. The check now examines each component precisely instead of scanning across the file, so it still blocks genuinely broken designs and stops rejecting good ones. **Where:** Any generated design; the check runs as designs are saved **How to test:** Generate multi-design sites; designs that render correctly should all be kept. **Watch for:** A design reported as failed with a "self-referential component" reason — that should now only happen for a page that genuinely cannot render.

Improved

Alternative designs now lay the page out differently

When a site generates several designs, the alternatives were building the same sections in the same order as the first one, so the choice came down to colour and type. The alternative designs can now decide their own arrangement — leading with a different section, merging or splitting sections, changing the page's rhythm — while still covering all of your planned content and never padding in filler sections. The first design continues to follow your plan exactly. **Where:** Any new site generated with multiple designs **How to test:** Generate a site with 5+ planned sections and compare designs. Design 1 should follow your section order; designs 2 and 3 should feel like different pages, not restyles. **Watch for:** An alternative design missing one of your planned sections, or inventing a section you did not ask for — both are explicitly disallowed and worth reporting.

Fixed

Connected assistants now wait for your designs instead of reporting them finished early

When you asked a connected AI assistant to build a site, it could be told the site was ready seconds after starting — while the designs were still being made. The assistant would then stop waiting and hand you a half-built site. It now reports the round as still running until every design has actually landed, and design thumbnails are captured for sites created this way instead of staying blank. **Where:** Any AI assistant connected to Mondovo — building a site, then listing its designs **How to test:** Ask a connected assistant to create a site. It should report the site as still generating for the whole round (a few minutes), not "ready" straight away, and should then be able to show you all three designs with previews. **Watch for:** An assistant that claims a site is finished within seconds, hands back a site with missing sections, or lists designs with no preview images.

Improved

Design list now explains its gaps

If your designs start at D3, or skip a number, the design bar now tells you why instead of leaving you to guess. **Where:** Site editor → the design bar at the top, next to "+ New" **How to test:** Open a site where a design failed to generate or was deleted. A "N missing" chip appears at the end of the design list; click it to see which numbers are missing and what happened to each. Deleted designs can be restored from there. **Watch for:** The chip appearing on a site with nothing missing, a count that disagrees with the list inside it, or a Restore that reports success without the design coming back.

Fixed

Design previews now always show the right design

On sites where a design had failed to generate, the small preview thumbnails could show a different design than the one you hovered — or show nothing at all. **Where:** Site editor → the D1 / D2 / D3 design tabs at the top, and the full design gallery **How to test:** Open a site with several designs and hover each design tab. Every card should show that design's own preview and a caption describing its style. Open the gallery grid and confirm each card matches its label. **Watch for:** A thumbnail that looks like the design next to it, an empty hover card with only a title, or a caption whose number disagrees with the tab it belongs to.

Fixed

Designs 2 and 3 now follow the full design instructions

Designs 2 and 3 were being created from an incomplete copy of the design instructions — content-accuracy rules, reference-site structure notes, section-specific reference guidance, image role descriptions, and animation preferences only reached Design 1. All three designs now receive the complete instructions, so the second and third designs respect source content, references, and uploads the same way the first one does. **Where:** Any new site generation that produces multiple designs (client editor → new site → generate) **How to test:** Generate a site from a cloned/reference source with "keep my content" selected, plus an uploaded image. Compare Designs 1, 2 and 3 — all three should preserve the source copy and use the uploads, not just Design 1. **Watch for:** Designs 2/3 ignoring source content or uploads; Designs 2/3 starting noticeably later than before (a small delay is expected — their instructions are now finished before they start).

Improved

Designs now appear as soon as each one is ready

Each design in a generation round is shown the moment it finishes instead of everyone waiting for the slowest one, and a round is no longer reported as finished while designs are still being made. **Where:** Site editor → create or regenerate a site (the generation screen, then the design switcher) **How to test:** 1. Start a new site that produces three designs. 2. Watch the generation screen — as soon as the first design is ready the canvas opens on it, with the remaining designs shown as pending spinners in the design switcher. 3. Wait for the others; each one replaces its spinner as it lands, and the progress message counts up honestly ("2 of 3 designs ready…"). 4. Confirm the round only reports as complete once every design has finished. **Watch for:** a design that stays a spinner after its sibling completes; a "designs could not be completed" message appearing while designs are still generating; the previous design being shown when re-generating an existing site; a failed design replacing the whole screen with an error instead of leaving the finished designs usable.

Fixed

Designs that finished are no longer hidden

When one design in a round took an unusual path to completion — a worker that had to be restarted, or a round the cleanup sweep closed out — the finished design could be marked as failed after it had already saved, which removed it from your design list. The design was intact the whole time; you just couldn't see it. A design that has actually saved can no longer be marked failed by a later cleanup. **Where:** Design list for any site generated with multiple designs **How to test:** Generate a multi-design site. All designs that complete should appear, including any that report a worker hiccup along the way. **Watch for:** A round showing fewer designs than it says it produced, or a design tab that stays on a spinner.

Improved

Finished designs survive save-time failures on every path

Several safeguards that protected designs on one generation path now protect all of them: a finished design is snapshotted before final processing (so a timeout no longer discards it), processing automatically switches to a faster mode near the time limit instead of running out of clock, a repair-step crash keeps the unrepaired design rather than losing it, and every design gets its editable content extracted before it is first saved. Regenerated pages also now refuse to embed an uploaded reference screenshot as page content, matching the other paths. **Where:** All design generation — new sites, alternative designs, regeneration **How to test:** Generate a multi-design site and regenerate a page; all designs should appear with editable content. Failure cases are timing-dependent and hard to trigger on demand. **Watch for:** Designs saving without editable text content; a regeneration that used to succeed now reporting a reference-image error (that block is intentional but should be rare).

Fixed

Multi-part headline edits now update every part

Some designs split a headline into three or more styled parts. Asking the assistant (or voice editor) to "change the headline" previously updated only the first two parts, leaving the remaining line as stale text. The assistant now reads the page's own design to learn exactly which parts compose each headline, so edits replace all of them together — whatever the design named them. **Where:** Site editor assistant chat and voice editing, on any site whose headline renders in multiple styled parts **How to test:** On a site with a 3-part hero headline, ask the assistant to change the headline to a new phrase. All visible lines of the headline should change; no old fragment should remain. **Watch for:** A leftover line from the old headline after an edit; the assistant describing headline parts as separate unrelated fields.

Improved

New designs ask what to change instead of rebuilding everything

Asking for a change to one part of your design no longer quietly rebuilds the whole page, and the plan now states what a generation will keep before you spend it. **Where:** Site editor → your design → New Design (the chat + plan panel) **How to test:** 1. Open a site that already has at least one design and click New Design. 2. The plan panel now opens on **Build from an existing design**, anchored on the design you were viewing — not on Fresh direction. Fresh is still one click away. 3. In the plan, look at the new "This design will" block. It shows three answers — Scope, Copy, Visual direction — and tags anything you did not choose as **Default**. Click any chip to change it; your choice is pinned so later chat turns cannot quietly undo it. 4. Attach a reference image and say something open-ended like "make it like this". The assistant now asks how much of the reference to take on — whole page, one section, or keep some sections — and Generate stays disabled until you answer. 5. Say "make the hero like this" instead. It scopes to the hero, keeps the rest of the design, and the Generate button reads "Update one section of D4". 6. Say "keep the hero and FAQ, change the rest". Every section appears in the plan with a keep/regenerate toggle, seeded from what you asked for. **Watch for:** A design that regenerates sections you asked to keep; the Generate button describing a different scope than the plan shows; the assistant asking about scope when you already named a section (it should not); copy being rewritten when the plan says "Keep approved copy". Choosing a fresh visual direction no longer rewrites your headlines unless you also ask for fresh copy — if you want new wording, set Copy to "Write fresh copy".

Fixed

Uploaded images land where they belong — and never get repeated to fill a section

Your uploads are now examined before your designs are built, so a scan of a product label or a brochure page is never used as a section photo, and a short set of images is never repeated across the cards of a step-by-step or feature section. **Where:** Any site where you upload your own images in chat before generating designs. **How to test:** 1. Open a client site and start a new design. 2. In chat, upload two or three images that are *not* photographs — a product label, a packaging shot with printed text on it, or a scanned brochure page. 3. Add a brief that asks for a step-by-step or "how it works" section with four or more steps. 4. Generate designs. 5. Look at the step section in each design. The steps should use numbers, icons or type — not the same uploaded label repeated across every card. 6. Check where the uploads did land: they should appear once each, in a section where they make sense (a product area or a small brand image strip), and never twice. **Watch for:** - The same uploaded image appearing in more than one card, step or tile of the same section. - A photograph you uploaded being ignored when there was an obvious place for it — the change should make placement *more* accurate, not skip your images. - Designs taking noticeably longer to appear. The new check runs while the other planning steps are already running, so generation time should be unchanged.

Fixed

Videos you meant to be playable keep their controls

When a design used a silent background video in the hero, every other video on the site — a testimonial, a facility tour — was silently converted to the same treatment: autoplaying, muted, looping, with the play controls removed. Only the background video is treated that way now; players meant to be watched keep their controls. **Where:** Any generated site with a background/ambient video plus a separate watchable video **How to test:** Generate a site with a hero background video and a testimonial video. The hero should loop silently; the testimonial should still have play/pause controls. **Watch for:** A hero background video that shows a controls bar, or a testimonial video that still autoplays.

Fixed

Designs no longer get stuck showing “Generating…”

When a design failed to be created, its tile could keep showing “Generating…” long after the rest of your designs were ready — it is now closed out automatically within about 15 minutes, with a note explaining what happened. **Where:** Site editor → Designs rail (the D1/D2/D3… tabs above the preview) **How to test:** Ask for a new set of designs. If one of them fails, the others still appear as normal, and the failed one stops showing as in-progress instead of hanging there — the designs list only ever shows designs you can actually open. **Watch for:** A design tile that still says “Generating…” more than 15 minutes after the rest of the round finished, or a design disappearing from the rail with no explanation anywhere.

Fixed

Duplicating a site no longer fails when a design is missing

If one of a site's designs failed to save during generation, duplicating that site would error out instead of copying it. **Where:** Any site with fewer designs than expected — open it, then use Duplicate. **How to test:** Find a site where one of the generated designs is missing, duplicate it, and confirm the copy opens on the same design you were viewing. **Watch for:** The duplicate opening on the wrong design, or reporting that it has no designs at all.

Fixed

Generated designs stop showing unrelated photos

A design could occasionally illustrate itself with stock photos that had nothing to do with the business — office towers on a home-safety page, a smartwatch next to a product explanation. Those now get replaced with an image that matches the section, and the underlying image service reads its results correctly instead of quietly retrying with a weaker one. **Where:** Any newly generated design, across all its versions. **How to test:** Generate a site and compare the three designs. Every image should plausibly belong to the business — check the hero and any product or feature sections in particular. **Watch for:** An image that looks generic where a specific one was expected, or two versions of the same site showing noticeably different image quality.

New

Send a proposal with your designs

Design boards now carry a proposal — scope, timeline, pricing and terms — on the same link your client already uses to review the designs, with a button for them to accept it. **Where:** Open a client → Boards → pick a board → the new **Proposal** tab. **How to test:** 1. Pin a couple of designs to a board, then open the **Proposal** tab. 2. Start from one of the four templates, or hit **Draft with AI**. Both write the wording and the scope; you always fill in the prices yourself. 3. Add your line items — one-off, monthly or yearly, and tick "Optional" for anything you want to show as an upsell without it counting toward the headline total. 4. Set a "Valid until" date if you want the proposal to expire on its own. 5. Press **Ready to share**, then open **Share** and switch on **Include the proposal**. Use "Copy a link straight to the proposal" for the email. 6. Open that link in a private window: your client sees a Designs / Proposal switch, your logo on the cover, and an Accept button. 7. Accept it. You get an email straight away; your client gets their own confirmation. **Watch for:** A proposal still marked as a draft stays hidden from your client even with the share toggle on — that is deliberate, so half-written prices can never go out. Once a client accepts, the proposal locks so what they agreed to cannot change underneath them. The **PDF** button gives you a file to attach to an email; your client gets their own download on the page.

Improved

Set your proposal defaults once, and save your own templates

Proposals now start from your settings instead of ours — including the option to send scope and timeline with no pricing at all. **Where:** Settings → Organization → **Proposals**, and the **Proposal** tab on any board. **How to test:** 1. Open Settings → Organization → **Proposals**. 2. Pick your currency, how long proposals stay valid, and tick the services you actually offer. Anything you leave unticked is never mentioned in a proposal. 3. Paste your own standard terms if you have them — they replace ours everywhere. 4. Turn **Include pricing** off if you'd rather send scope first and talk money separately. 5. Open a board's Proposal tab and apply a template. It now uses your currency, your expiry, your terms, and lists only the services you ticked. 6. Edit a proposal until it reads the way you want, then press **Save this as a template**. It appears under "Your templates" for every future proposal, and you can delete it from there. **Watch for:** Services only appear where they make sense — a landing-page proposal won't offer catalog pages, and a monthly care plan won't offer domain setup you already delivered. When pricing is off, the figures are removed from the page entirely rather than hidden, so there's nothing for a client to find; your client can still accept, and they're accepting the scope. Changing currency rescales your existing line items so the number you typed stays the number you meant.

Fixed

You'll be told when a design didn't make it

When a site was generating three designs and one of them failed, the builder could still say "Designs ready" and show 100% — leaving you to notice the missing design yourself. It now tells you how many landed and which one didn't. **Where:** Generating a new site with three design options. **How to test:** Generate a site and watch the status through to the end. If every design lands you'll see "Designs ready"; if one fails you'll see something like "2 of 3 designs ready — D3 could not be completed". **Watch for:** A completed message that doesn't match the number of designs actually shown in the switcher.

Fixed

A design that fails to generate is now reported instead of silently disappearing

When one design in a multi-design generation failed, the site quietly finished with fewer designs and still announced "Designs ready" — so there was no way to tell a complete run from one that lost a design. The status message now names how many designs were produced out of how many were requested, and which one did not make it. **Where:** Site builder → generation status message, and Admin → Generations → a generation's Preview tab (design status line) **How to test:** 1. Start a generation that produces three designs and let it finish. 2. A complete run still reads "Designs ready". 3. For a run where a design failed, the message reads "2 of 3 designs ready — D2 could not be completed". 4. Open that generation in Admin → Generations. The failed design is still listed, marked `failed`, with the reason shown underneath it. **Watch for:** A completed generation still reporting a design as missing after all of them landed; a failed design appearing as a selectable but empty card in the design switcher (it should be listed for admins only); or a message naming the wrong design number.

Improved

Cleaner carousels and fewer gimmicks in generated designs

Generated sites no longer show a raw grey scrollbar under horizontal card rows, and no longer invent floating images that chase your mouse pointer around a list. **Where:** Any newly generated design — most visible on sections that scroll sideways (work, services, testimonials, menus) and on team/roster sections. **How to test:** 1. Generate a new site in any creative or service industry. 2. Scroll to a section with a horizontal row of cards. It should have prev/next arrow buttons on desktop and no visible scrollbar strip; on mobile it should still swipe with dot indicators. 3. Open a team, directors, or roster section and hover the names. Names should highlight in place — no portrait should detach and follow the cursor across the page. **Watch for:** A row that still shows a scrollbar; arrow buttons that do nothing or stay active at the end of the row; arrows appearing on mobile where swipe already works; a team section where hovering a name reveals nothing at all when it previously showed a photo inline.

Fixed

Design variations vary again, and generated photos stop showing stray text

Three separate faults were making generated sites look repetitive and rough: every design came back in the same colours, hero photos sometimes had garbled lettering burned into them, and every AI photo was square no matter what shape the layout asked for. **Where:** Any new site generation — the three design options shown after the setup chat. **How to test:** 1. Start a new site and describe a business *without naming any colours* (e.g. "bold and cinematic" or "clean and modern"). 2. Generate, then compare the three designs. They should differ in colour family and in light/dark character, not just in layout. 3. Name colours explicitly instead ("navy and gold") and regenerate — now all three should honour those colours and vary by layout, typography and motion. 4. Check the hero images on each design: no words, letterforms, watermarks or logos baked into the photo. 5. Check a wide hero renders wide rather than square. **Watch for:** - Three designs still sharing one palette when no colours were requested — that means a palette is still being treated as owner-specified somewhere upstream. - A design ignoring colours the owner *did* state. The lock is meant to hold in that case. - Photos still carrying text. Suppression is best-effort; anything that slips through is now quarantined so it is never reused on another site, but the image on the current site is not regenerated. - Images at an unexpected shape. Requested ratios are snapped to the nearest one the image model supports, so a very wide 21:9 request will come back 16:9.

Improved

Designs now scroll themselves when you hover

Hovering a design in Inspirations now plays through the whole page instead of showing a single cropped screenshot, so you can judge a layout without opening it. **Where:** Dashboard → Inspirations (also Templates, and the design pickers inside the builder) **How to test:** Hover any design card — the preview starts scrolling immediately. Keep the pointer still for a moment and it upgrades to a smooth recorded walkthrough of the real page. Move away and it snaps back to the still image. **Watch for:** A card that stays frozen on hover; a preview that flashes blank or black before it starts; the action buttons dimming the design while it scrolls. Sweeping the pointer quickly across many cards should stay smooth and should not stutter.

Fixed

Inspiration references no longer rewrite your section structure

When you attach an image as inspiration for a new design, it now guides colour, type and styling only — your page keeps the sections and order you already approved. **Where:** Site editor → New design → attach a reference image → choose "Use as inspiration" **How to test:** Open a site with a rich page (8+ sections), start a new design, attach a cropped screenshot of just a hero area, pick "Use as inspiration", ask for a style change such as a lighter palette, and generate. Compare the new design's sections against the one you started from. **Watch for:** Sections that silently disappear or get reshuffled after generating; the new design collapsing to a hero plus one feature block. Choosing "Faithful replica" instead should still follow the reference's structure — that mode is unchanged.

Fixed

Recovering a deleted design now brings its history back too

Restoring a design from Recently Deleted used to return the design but not its edit history — every refinement you had made to it was gone, with nothing saying so. The history now survives the delete and reattaches when you restore. **Where:** Site editor → Designs → the design pill menu → Recently Deleted → Designs **How to test:** Refine a design a few times so it has entries in its version history. Delete it, then restore it from Recently Deleted. Open its version history — the earlier refinements should still be listed, and Undo should work on them. Permanently removing the design from Recently Deleted still clears it for good. **Watch for:** A restored design showing an empty timeline; Undo doing nothing after the first refinement on a recovered design; a restored design showing a *different* design's history. Also fixed: deleting the last remaining design on a site could quietly remove other hidden in-progress designs along with it, leaving no record they had existed.

Improved

Second designs are faster, and animated pages respect reduced motion

The second design we generate for you now comes from a different, faster model, and any design that animates now honours your system's "reduce motion" setting. **Where:** Any new site generation — the second design in the design picker (Design 2), plus every generated page that animates. **How to test:** Generate a new site and watch how long the second design takes; it should land noticeably sooner than before. Then turn on "Reduce motion" in your OS accessibility settings, reload a generated page, and scroll: parallax, scroll-triggered reveals, sliding marquees and autoplaying background video should all stop moving. **Watch for:** A second design that looks visually similar to the first instead of clearly different. With reduce-motion on, watch especially for sections that go blank or stay invisible — content should still be fully there and readable, just without the movement. Also check that accordions, modals, filters and tabs still work normally with reduce-motion on; only movement should be gone, not interactivity.

Sharper website screenshots in generated designs

When a design shows a picture of a website — a hero mockup, a "sites we built" showcase, a template card — the platform now uses the high-resolution capture of that site instead of the small dashboard thumbnail, and never blows a small picture up to a bigger size. **Where:** Any generated or regenerated design that includes a website screenshot — most visibly the hero area of agency, portfolio, and website-builder sites. **How to test:** Generate a new design (or a new variation) for a business whose page shows website mockups. Open the resulting design and zoom into the screenshot image — the interface text inside it should be readable rather than smeared. **Watch for:** Screenshots that still look soft, a showcase card whose crop starts below the site's header instead of at the top, or a showcase row where two cards show the same site.

A design that's still generating now keeps its number

While your designs are being created, the one still in progress now stays in the design switcher as "D2" with a spinner instead of disappearing and reappearing as an unlabelled "Generating..." tab at the end of the row. **Where:** Site editor → the DESIGNS tabs in the top toolbar, while designs are still being created **How to test:** Start a new site so all three designs generate. While one is still running, look at the design tabs — you should see D1, D2 and D3 in order, with a spinner on whichever one is still working. Clicking that tab shows its generation progress. **Watch for:** A design number skipping out of the row (e.g. D1 and D3 with no D2), two designs in progress showing only one spinner, or a spinner that stays on a design after it has finished and become clickable.

Asking for a transparent cut-out during bulk image regeneration now works

When you edit an image prompt in the review step and ask for a transparent cut-out, the regenerated image now comes back with its background removed instead of as a plain photo. **Where:** Site editor → overflow menu → Images → select images → AI Regenerate → edit the prompts → Generate **How to test:** Select one or two images, click AI Regenerate, and in the prompt review step append something like "make it a transparent cut-out with no background" to a prompt. Generate, then check the result — the subject should sit on a transparent background, not inside a photo box. **Watch for:** Cut-outs still don't apply to slots where they'd make no sense — full-bleed background images, screenshots, logos and patterns keep their background on purpose.

Brand-specific images stay with the business they were made for

When a site needs an image and the client has nothing suitable of its own, we can draw on a shared pool of previously generated images. Only images judged generic enough — a close-up of tools, a plate of food — are supposed to enter that pool; anything that reads as specific to one business is meant to stay with it. That rule was being applied in some places but skipped in the main search, so brand-specific images could surface on another business's site. **Where:** Site generation — the shared image pool used when a client has no matching image of its own **How to test:** Generate a site for a business with no image library of its own. Images pulled from the shared pool should be generic subject matter, never something clearly tied to another named business. **Watch for:** A client's own images going missing from its own generations — that is the opposite of intended, since a client always has full access to its own library.

Improved

Create a new design is a workspace now, not a cramped dialog

The "Create a new design" window has been rebuilt: the chat and the plan each get a guaranteed share of the space, the plan reads as a numbered list of sections you can open one at a time, and picking which design a section comes from now shows you the designs instead of listing their names. **Where:** Site editor → **+ New** (Create a new design) **How to test:** Open a site in the editor and click **+ New**. The window should fill most of the screen with two columns — chat on the left, plan on the right — and neither column should be narrow enough to break words onto their own lines. In the plan, click **Change source** (or **Use a design**) on any section: the row opens in place and shows a scrollable strip of design thumbnails, with designs that lack that section greyed out and labelled. Pick one and the row closes with its new source shown. Narrow the browser below about 880px and the two columns become **Chat** / **Plan** tabs — type half a message, switch tabs and back, and the draft should still be there. **Watch for:** Either column collapsing to a sliver with empty space beside it; chat text rendering outside its bubble; more than one scrollbar inside a column; the **Generate** button clipped to "GENE"; the source picker being cut off at the bottom with options you cannot reach; the section list losing its numbering or its order.

New

Creative planning is clearer from idea to calendar

Creative Studio now keeps the chat composer prominent and puts optional idea suggestions behind a compact control. Suggestions remember whether they were accepted, dismissed, generated, or used on the calendar, so completed ideas are less likely to return. Choosing an idea carries that exact direction into review instead of asking AI to reinterpret it. The content calendar now has an editable strategy for audiences, brand personality, topic clusters, topics, journey stages, objectives, cadence, and coverage targets. Plans append by default, previous plans can be restored, posts can be added, duplicated, deleted, filtered, and moved with the keyboard, and publishing profiles are clearly separated from customer audiences. **Where:** Creative Studio → Visuals and Creative Studio → Calendar **How to test:** Start a visual conversation, optionally request two ideas, dismiss or use one, and confirm the composer remains easy to reach. In Calendar, open Content strategy, save a few structured dimensions, generate posts, then create a visual from one calendar post and confirm the chosen result attaches back to that post. **Watch for:** An accepted or dismissed idea returning unchanged, a generated plan replacing existing posts without the replace option selected, or a multi-image generation attaching a result before you choose it.

Fixed

Escape no longer throws you out of the editor

Pressing Escape in the site editor with nothing selected used to drop you back to Mission Control mid-edit. It now does nothing, and leaving is the Mission Control button that is always in the top-left. **Where:** Site editor (Edit site from your site's home screen) **How to test:** 1. Open a site and click **Edit site**. 2. With nothing selected, press **Escape** a few times — you should stay exactly where you are. 3. Click an element to select it, then press Escape — it should still deselect. 4. In **Edit** mode with nothing selected, press Escape — it should still drop back to Preview mode. 5. Click the Mission Control icon in the top-left — that still leaves the editor. **Watch for:** Escape failing to deselect an element or to close an open panel, dialog or picker — those all still respond to it.

Fixed

Fixed 'That design is no longer available' filling the new-design plan

When you asked for a new design built from parts of your existing ones ("keep D15's hero, use D11's footer"), the plan could come back as a stack of identical yellow warnings reading "That design is no longer available" instead of the sections you asked for. It happened on sites where a design had been deleted at some point, and it meant a composed design quietly fell back to being generated from scratch. **Where:** Site editor → **+ New** (Create a new design) → the **Plan** column on the right **How to test:** Open a site that has several designs — ideally one where you have deleted a design before, so the names skip a number (D11, D13, D14…). Click **+ New** and ask for something composed, e.g. "Take D15's hero and pricing, use D11's footer, and generate a fresh testimonials section." The Plan column should list those sections showing the designs you named, with previews. **Watch for:** Any yellow warning card in the plan. If one does appear it should now say which section it is about ("We couldn't find the design picked for the hero…") rather than being unidentifiable. Also check that the design named in each section card is the one you actually asked for, not a neighbour.

Fixed

Fixed the cramped plan panel in Create a new design

The plan column in the "Create a new design" window was rendering far narrower than intended, which squashed its footer text into a single-word-per-line column and left the "Generate anyway" button sitting on top of it. **Where:** Site editor → **+ New** (Create a new design) → the **Plan** column on the right **How to test:** Open a site in the editor, click **+ New**, and look at the right-hand Plan column before typing anything. It should fill roughly the right-hand side of the window, and the hint "Add a little more direction, or generate anyway." should read as normal wrapped text with the **Generate anyway** button clear of it on the right. **Watch for:** The panel staying narrow with a wide empty gap between it and the window's right edge; hint text breaking one word per line; the button overlapping any text. Also check a narrow browser window and a phone-width screen, where the panel should sit below the chat at full width.

Fixed

Hero background videos now work for every clip in the stock library

Picking a video for a hero or section background used to fail for roughly half the clips shown, with the design never generating — every clip in the library can now be used. **Where:** Site editor → create a new design → ask for a video hero background → "Pick a video for your hero background" → Stock library **How to test:** Start a new design and ask for something like "use a video background in the hero". When the video picker opens, click through several different clips across the grid, not just the first one. Each pick should show a brief loading spinner on the tile and then close the picker and start generating the design. **Watch for:** A red "not from an approved stock provider" message under the search bar, the picker re-opening instead of generating, or the Generate button appearing to do nothing after a clip was chosen.

Fixed

Reference images now win over auto-detected colours

When you attach a reference image and ask for a new design direction, its colours are respected again — previously a palette the system had guessed from an earlier draft could quietly override it, so a bright reference could still come back dark or washed out. **Where:** Site editor → Designs → + New (or "Try again"), with an image attached as a reference. **How to test:** Open a site whose current design is dark or neutral, attach a strongly coloured reference image (e.g. a blue hero), ask for a new direction, and confirm the generated design follows the reference's colours rather than the previous design's. **Watch for:** Colours you explicitly chose in brand settings must still be honoured exactly — those are a hard constraint and should not drift toward the reference.

Fixed

Suggestions in the editor chat are now readable

When you ask the editor chat for alternatives — headline options, copy variants, design directions — the reply now comes back as a properly formatted numbered list instead of one unbroken block of text, and each suggestion button lines up with the item it applies. **Where:** Site editor → the chat panel on the right (any site) **How to test:** Open a site in the editor and ask the chat something like "give me a few alternative headlines for the hero" or "what could I improve on this page?". The answer should come back as a numbered list with visible numbers and clear spacing between items, with each option written out in full so you can read and compare them without clicking anything. The buttons underneath should read "Use 1 — …", "Use 2 — …" and match the numbered items in order. Ask a follow-up question and confirm the answer still reads as a normal chat reply rather than a highlighted warning box. **Watch for:** Lists that run together with no numbers or spacing; bullet points that lose their markers; suggestions that exist only on the buttons and not in the answer itself; a genuine "we need more detail" question losing its highlighted treatment (that one should still stand out).

Fixed

The design toolbar now explains the 10-design limit

When a site already has 10 designs, the editor toolbar now says so and takes you straight to the gallery to delete one, instead of offering a "+ New" button that couldn't actually create anything. **Where:** Site editor → Design view → the design tab bar at the top **How to test:** Open a site that has 10 designs. The "+ New" button is replaced by a "10/10 · Manage" control; click it and the Design Gallery opens, where each design can be deleted. On a site with fewer than 10 designs, "+ New" behaves exactly as before. **Watch for:** "+ New" disappearing on a site that is below the limit, or the limit control failing to open the gallery.

Improved

The site preview is much bigger in the editor

The editor now shows your site at close to full size instead of shrinking it to fit between the side panels — on a laptop the preview went from roughly half size to near 100%. **Where:** Site editor (Edit site from your site's home screen) **How to test:** 1. Open a site and click **Edit site**. 2. The preview should fill most of the window and be comfortably readable. The label next to the device icons in the top bar tells you the width it is being shown at, and the zoom if it is being scaled down at all. 3. Press the **\\** key to hide both side panels and give the preview the whole window. Press it again to bring them back. 4. Click the page-structure icon on the far left. On a laptop-sized window the list opens on top of the preview and closes again once you pick a section, so it no longer squeezes the canvas; on a large monitor it stays docked open beside the preview as before. The pin button in its header switches between the two. 5. The **Desktop / Laptop / Tablet / Mobile** buttons still work exactly as before — pick one when you want to check how the site looks at that specific screen size. **Watch for:** A preview that looks narrower than the space available, a page-structure panel that pushes the preview sideways when it opens, or the chat panel being draggable wide enough to leave the preview a sliver.

Fixed

Undo now reverts the first text edit on a design

The first AI copy change on a design that had no custom text of its own could not be undone — Undo reported success but the new wording stayed, including after a reload. **Where:** Site editor → design view → AI chat → change some copy → Undo **How to test:** On a freshly created or recovered design, ask the AI to change the hero heading, then click Undo. The original heading should come back and still be there after refreshing the page. **Watch for:** The heading flashing back to the original and then returning to the edited text after a reload.

Fixed

Undo now works on a design you just recovered

Recovering a deleted design left it without a starting point in its history, so the first Undo after an AI edit on that design did nothing — the change stayed put even after a reload. **Where:** Site editor → design view → recover a deleted design → make an AI edit → Undo **How to test:** Delete a design, restore it from the deleted-designs list, ask the AI to change the hero heading, then click Undo. The heading should go back to what it was, and stay reverted after a page reload. **Watch for:** Undo reporting "Cannot undo — no earlier version found", or the heading snapping back visually but returning after a refresh.

Fixed

Voice mode now always tells you whether your change was applied

When you asked the voice assistant for a change, it sometimes went quiet after the work finished — leaving "hang tight" as the last thing you saw, even though the change had already been applied. Voice now states the outcome itself, so a finished change can never look like nothing happened. **Where:** Site editor → the voice button in the assistant panel (both the design view and Mission Control) **How to test:** 1. Open a site in the editor and start voice mode. 2. Ask for something slow, like replacing the images in a section. 3. Wait for the change to finish. You should get a clear result line — what was changed, or why it wasn't — even if the assistant goes silent. 4. Ask for a second change while the first is still running. You'll be told which request was not applied instead of it disappearing. 5. End the call while a change is still running. You'll see a note that it's still being applied in the background, rather than the conversation ending with no trace of it. **Watch for:** A result that never appears after a slow change; a "hang tight" message sitting below a completed change card; a second request that vanishes silently; the voice bar dropping back to "Listening" without ever confirming.

Fixed

Your own images are reused in new designs again

When we generate a site we first look through the images you already have, so your new pages reuse your own photography instead of paying to create something new. That lookup had been failing silently since late March — every design fell straight through to stock photos. **Where:** Site generation — any new design or added page that needs imagery **How to test:** Generate a design for a client that already has images in its library. Images that closely match what the page needs should come from that library rather than stock, and the same photo should not repeat across hero, services and team. **Watch for:** Designs still filled entirely with stock photos when a good match exists in the library, or the same library image reused in several slots on one page.

Improved

Creative Studio keeps working when the image service is busy

Image generation now automatically reroutes when one image service is at capacity, instead of failing the attempt — and when something does go wrong, the message explains it in plain language and confirms your credits weren't used. **Where:** Creative Studio → Create (and Brand → Logo) **How to test:** 1. Open Creative Studio and generate an ad, social post, or carousel as normal. 2. Confirm the image comes back as usual — generation should feel the same or slightly faster. 3. Generate a carousel with several slides and confirm every slide completes. 4. If a generation ever fails, check that the red message is readable plain English, says your credits were not used, and shows a "Try again" button. 5. With an empty credit balance, start a generation and confirm the message says you're out of credits and offers no "Try again" button. **Watch for:** Any failure message containing technical wording (error codes, model names, references to a prediction) — those should no longer appear anywhere. Also watch for a generation that appears stuck as "in progress" and never resolves, or credits that drop after a failed attempt rather than being returned.

Improved

Design gallery: scroll to the footer, view screenshots full size

Gallery cards now render the whole design instead of stopping partway down, so you can scroll each one all the way to its footer — and open any design's screenshot full size to read it or save it. **Where:** Site editor → Design Gallery (the grid view, not Focus Mode) **How to test:** 1. Open a site with several designs and switch to the gallery grid. 2. Scroll inside any card — you should reach the real footer, not run out of page halfway. 3. Hover a card and click the "Footer" pill at its bottom-right to jump straight to the end, then "Top" to come back. 4. Click the image icon in a card's header to open the screenshot full size. Use the arrows or ← / → to move between designs, "Full width" to zoom, and Download to save it. 5. Scroll to the last tile in the grid: it shows "New Design" with a count of how many you've used, or explains that you've hit the limit and need to delete one first. **Watch for:** A card whose preview stops short of the footer, a card that scrolls far past the end into blank space, a design count that disagrees with the number of cards, or a Download that opens a tab instead of saving a file.

Fixed

Designs no longer thrown away over a stray escape character

Occasionally a design came back with every line of its code run together instead of laid out properly, and the whole design was discarded — you saw a generation fail for no visible reason and had to run it again. **Where:** Site generation — creating a site, adding a variation, or regenerating one. **How to test:** Generate a few sites in a row, ideally with a reference design attached. Every variation that the model completes should now reach the editor. **Watch for:** A variation that still fails to appear, or a page that renders with missing sections after generation.

Improved

Presentation videos: better pacing, real variety, and the speaker stays put

Presentations built from a talking-head clip now build their slides as you speak, look different from one slide to the next, and no longer make you vanish from your own video at every slide change. **Where:** Creative Studio → Video → open a presentation project **How to test:** Build a presentation from a clip with a few distinct points. Watch it end to end. Bullets should appear one at a time, each landing as you say that point, with the slide holding still in between — not all arriving at once followed by a long static stretch. Adjacent slides should look genuinely different from each other rather than the same text animation repeated. At every slide change you should stay on screen throughout. On a longer clip (2–3 minutes) you should get more slides than before, so no single one sits there for twenty-odd seconds. On a vertical project, the layout picker offers two new slide-dominant options ("Big slide, you across the bottom" and "You across the top, big slide"). If most slides end up in the same style, a note appears above the build button before you spend anything. **Watch for:** A bullet appearing noticeably before or after you say it; two slides in a row looking identical; the speaker fading or jumping at a slide change; a slide with more bullets than comfortably fit; the layout picker offering something that produces a full-frame speaker with no slide.

Fixed

Recover a deleted design, and see who deleted it

Deleted designs can now be restored from Recently Deleted, and designs are no longer removed automatically without a trace. Two things were wrong. Designs you deleted were being saved for recovery, but the only way to get one back was a small archive icon inside the new-design dialog — nowhere near the gallery or the design switcher where designs actually get deleted. Separately, when a site reached its design limit, the oldest unrated design was dropped to make room and left no record at all, which is why designs could disappear that nobody had deleted. That limit was also being applied far too aggressively: once a site had ever been full, it kept dropping a design on every new generation even when only a handful were left. **Where:** Workspace settings → Advanced → "View Deleted Sites & Designs" → Designs tab **How to test:** Open a site with more than one design and delete one. Go to Workspace settings → Advanced → View Deleted Sites & Designs → Designs. The design should be listed with a thumbnail, the site it came from, when it was deleted, and who deleted it. Click Restore, then use "Open in editor" to confirm it's back in that site's design list. Then generate several new designs on a site that has fewer than ten and confirm nothing disappears. **Watch for:** A design that was removed automatically should say "Removed automatically" instead of naming a person. Restore should be disabled with an explanation when the target site is already at ten designs. A restored design comes back at the end of the list with a new number, and its edit history is not restored.

New

Remove the background from any image

Click an image in your site, open Replace, and hit **Remove background** — the subject is cut out onto a transparent background and you preview it before applying. Designs that need a person or product floating over a colour or shape, rather than sitting in a photo box, now get that automatically during generation too. **Where:** Site editor → click any image → Replace → "Remove background", under the current image. **How to test:** Try it on a photo with one clear subject — a person, a product, an animal. Apply it over a coloured section and the subject should sit directly on the colour with no box around it. **Watch for:** Photos with no obvious subject (a landscape, a screenshot, a busy crowd) will say they can't be separated — that's expected, and the original image is left untouched.

Fixed

Responsive Check now clears issues once they're fixed

Issues you've fixed in Responsive Check no longer linger in the list, and the scan stops reporting phantom problems that could never be fixed. **Where:** Site editor → mobile viewport → Responsive Check panel **How to test:** Open a site in the editor, switch to the mobile viewport and open Responsive Check. Run the layout scan, then click "Fix All". When the fixes finish, the list re-scans on its own and everything that was actually fixed disappears instead of staying there with a Fix button next to it. Take a screenshot of the preview first, then re-scan — the scan should no longer list an overflowing element you can't find anywhere on the page. **Watch for:** The list briefly empties and re-scans a second or two after Fix All completes — that's expected. Issues that genuinely remain unfixed should come back after the re-scan; only resolved ones should drop off.

Fixed

Slides no longer get cut in half by the presenter

In a presentation video, each slide now gets a defined area of the frame and stays inside it — so a list, headline or graphic can no longer run underneath the speaker and disappear. **Where:** Creative Studio → Video → open a presentation project **How to test:** Open a presentation built from a talking-head clip, especially a vertical one where the speaker sits in the bottom half. Play through every section: the slide's content should sit fully in the free part of the frame with a clear gap before the speaker starts. Click "Position presenter" and a dashed green "Slide area" outline appears showing exactly where the slide lives — drag the speaker around and watch the outline follow. Rebuild an older presentation and its slides should tidy up too. **Watch for:** Content that spills past the speaker's edge; a slide that looks noticeably smaller than the space it has; a black band around the edge of the frame; the slide area outline not matching where the slide actually sits.

Fixed

Undo works again on designs created after you delete one

Clicking **Undo** on an AI change no longer fails with "Cannot undo — no earlier version found" on sites where a design had previously been deleted. **Where:** Site Editor → open a design → make an AI change → click **Undo** on the change card in the Assistant panel **How to test:** On a site with several designs, delete one, then create or open a later design, ask the assistant for a change, and click Undo once it says "Applied". The change should revert and you should see "Undid last change". **Watch for:** Undo reverting the wrong design's change, or the button reporting success without the preview changing. Undo only ever reverts the most recent change on the design you have open.
